| FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE |
| Winner of the 2007 SAMMY Award |
SAN RAMON, Calif., April 5, 2007:
SAFE Security® is pleased to announce it has won the SAMMY Award for web site design, presented by Security Sales and Integration magazine on March 27 during an awards ceremony at the 2007 International Security Conference (ISC) in Las Vegas. SAFE’s web site that won is www.safesecurity.com.
The SAMMY is a highly regarded marketing award in the security industry and is presented in different categories each year to companies in the security industry. Judging criteria in the web site design category is based on download speed, originality and presentation appeal, appearance, editorial, and company representation.
Paul Sargenti, SAFE Security President and CEO, comments, “Creating this new site was challenging and time-consuming, but focus on the customer is maintained throughout, which is one of SAFE’s core values. It is a tremendous information resource for new and existing customers.” He adds “This is an example of our efforts to continually assess and improve processes so that we may provide our cus-tomers with security and business services that are state-of-the-art, comprehensive and a great value.”
When SAFE Security® determined to modernize its brand to reflect growth within the company as well as its customer base nationwide, a vital part of the project included a new website design, beginning with the acquisition of the URL www.safesecurity.com (formerly safefinancial.com).
With a new logo design that kept the lighthouse (SAFE’s symbol of protection since the inception of the company 19 years ago) at its core, the site addresses corporate goals, and represents SAFE and the industry as a whole in a professional and positive light. SAFE’s new site is especially designed to reflect SAFE operations and customer care, a core strength. Ease of functionality, clean and clear graphics and a straightforward approach to promotions, requests, and information are accomplished from the home page to the last page.
The primary team for the project was Miranda Hart for project oversight and technical integration, Karen McQueen and Nicole Torres for outstanding content development, and Megan Ralph for additional material development and coordination with the designer, ON&ON Media. |
